How We
Use Your IP address
We use your IP address to help
diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address
is used to help identify you and your shopping cart.
Your Shopper ID
Our site assigns you a unique shopper identification
code. We use this code to:

• identify you when you return to our site and as you move
through different pages on our site
• identify your order in our order processing system
Cookies
Little files called cookies help us keep track of your
online shopping. Specifically, a cookie is a randomly generated number assigned
to your browser so that our server, and only our server recognizes you when go
from page to page. The cookie also saves your password so you don't have to reenter
it each time you visit the Stave online store. Cookies are not required to browse
our site but they are required to place an order with a credit card. Stave's web
Cookies cannot be read or used by any other web site.

The account information form you encountered when using
the shopping cart system requires users to give us contact information (such as
their name and email address). This is used to verify credit card orders made
online, and also gives us a way to get in touch with you.

Our
eCommerce system
Our site uses an PHP-based shopping cart system (called
eShox) for customers to
order puzzles. We collect your contact information (your name, address, etc.)
when you log in, and your credit card number when you are ready to check out.
We do not store credit card information on this web site, and thus ask for the
credit card number each time you place an order. Importantly, our credit card
form is on a secure web page certified by Thawte.
Contact information from the order form is used to send
orders and information about our company to our customers. The customer's contact
information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the
loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We do not store
credit card numbers on our site.
To protect your credit card numbers, we require you to
enter your credit card information each time you place an order with us. All transaction
information that you supply to us from your browser is exchanged with our server
using a secure hypertext protocol. This protects information from compromise as
it travels between your computer and our Web server. Contact information (such
as your name, address and telephone) that you supply us is stored in a secured
database on our server or on our order processing system.
We
do not share your information with third parties
The personal information you provide Stave Puzzles and
information about your order is never shared with third parties, nor combined
with other personally identifiable information (such as demographic information
and past purchases information).
